The CVET Steering Committee was established to provide a forum for partners to collectively discuss CVET operations, maintenance and fulfillment of the California Veterinary Emergency Team’s mission as directed by Senate Bill 547 and California Law. This committee provides recommendations on future operational efforts, key areas of research and continued multi-agency coordination efforts.
Steering Committee members are appointed for three-year terms and represent various government, non-government, and university partners including state agencies, schools of veterinary medicine, veterinary medical associations, and community animal response teams.
